Youth Tuition Reimbursement Program

Eligibility

  • Youth age 17 or under

  • Child or grandchild of a current RIYC member, or a Junior member

  • Reimbursement limited to once per program year

  • Award amount determined by the RIYCEF Board of Directors

How it works

  1. Enroll and pay for a qualifying boating or sailing program.

  2. Submit your reimbursement request with proof of payment and enrollment.

  3. RIYCEF reviews requests; awards are issued once per program year, and reimbursement checks are sent to the RIYC member.

The RIYC Educational Foundation proudly supports RIYC members’ children, grandchildren, and Junior members (17 or under) who enroll in sailing or boating-related educational programs. We reimburse a portion of class fees to help young people learn to gain boating safety skills, sail, and enjoy the water.

Supported Activities

Supported activities include sailing, water-environment programs, boating safety, and other boating/water-related education.
