The Race Ambassador Program Returns This Spring!

New & Current Club Members interested in racing—but who may be new to the sport or seeking more confidence—are encouraged to join!

Mentorship: this comprehensive program offering both classroom sessions and on-the-water support.
• In the classroom, potential new racers develop a basic understanding of racing rules, strategies, & crew roles.
• On the water, skippers receive hands-on instruction and support, helping them overcome the “fear of the unknown” & transition into active racers.

This program is being offered thanks to the efforts of the RIYC Educational Foundation.

There is a $25 suggested donation to support our mission of providing boating related
public events as well as tuition reimbursement for boating and sailing classes.
